What to do
If you were scammed
You are not alone, and it is not your fault. Tell someone you trust right away.
Report fraud to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov, or call 2-1-1 for local help. Field's Edge neighbors can also talk to a staff member.
Being threatened over a private photo? Do not pay and do not send more. Save the messages, block them, and tell someone you trust right away. For anyone under 18, call 1-800-843-5678 (NCMEC). In danger now, call 911.
